My Pain Journey: From Modern Medicine to Natural Healing

Welcome to my blog! Today, I want to share a very personal story about my own journey with pain and healing. While I don’t suffer from arthritis or joint pain, I live with degenerative bone disease and a neurological condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation Type I.
My journey began when I was about 20 years old, studying for nursing school. One day, in the middle of studying, my vision suddenly went black, my ears rang loudly, and I could do nothing but cry out for help. My mom rushed into the room to find me panicked, unable to see or hear. She immediately drove me to the emergency room. After multiple tests and an MRI, doctors discovered that my cerebellum had elongated tonsils—leading to my diagnosis of Arnold Chiari Malformation.
This condition explained the debilitating headaches and migraines I had been experiencing for years. At the time, I relied heavily on ibuprofen and migraine medications like rizatriptan. But I knew the long-term risks, especially kidney damage, were serious. That fear pushed me to explore natural medicine.
At first, I was skeptical. I grew up trusting modern medicine and often teased my mom, who was always against it, about her preference for natural remedies. But when I began applying the exact natural pain program I now teach to others, I was stunned by the results. Within just two weeks—far sooner than the 30 days it typically takes to form new habits—my headaches began to fade.
The changes weren’t just about supplements and herbal remedies. Nutrition played the biggest role. What I was putting into my body was either fueling my pain or helping me heal. Once I shifted my habits and lifestyle, I began to experience real relief without depending on medications.
Today, not only do I have countless client success stories, but I am also living proof that this approach works. I am my own success story, and that’s something I’m proud and excited to share.
